Give your books an editable shelf on your own WordPress site. Choose a look that fits your theme, show clear author credits, and send readers to the correct Kindle, paperback, hardcover, Kobo or Spotify listing.

Your author shelf comes first, followed by Matthew and optional Taylor books. Add books yourself or explicitly choose the included examples. Connected author-owned WordPress catalogs can supply new releases without overwriting your existing book edits or covers.

What it supports

  • Create editable Books and Collections with featured covers, author credits, descriptions and native WordPress detail pages.
  • Save separate Kindle, paperback and hardcover Amazon ASINs, Amazon author links, Kobo and Spotify listings; use supplied Amazon affiliate tags while preserving individual book tags.
  • Search and filter by author, collection and format with accessible mobile controls and unboxed covers.
  • Choose site-inherited, light, dark, Taylor purple or custom colors, using author shelves or a flat grid.
  • Place your author shelf first, Matthew next and Taylor next; optionally hide Taylor throughout plugin-managed public pages, search, feeds, API and book sitemaps while retaining editable records.
  • Explicitly add optional Matthew and Taylor examples with author-owned artwork; activation and upgrades never publish those examples.
  • Enable daily checks from connected author-owned WordPress catalogs to add verified new books, with at most 20 additions per run and no overwriting of existing books or covers.
  • Read visible catalog and release-feed data through the public REST API; manage books, settings, imports and enabled release checks with existing authorized WordPress access.
  • Use the bookshelf shortcode in native WordPress, Elementor or WPBakery shortcode elements.

Release details

  • Approved Amazon API access and authorized credentials are configured separately; an unconfigured installation does not discover an entire Amazon account automatically.
  • Retailer links and ASINs do not verify sales, prices, reviews or Amazon release dates; Kobo and Spotify listings must be real supplied links.
  • Daily release checks require the host to execute WordPress scheduled tasks and permission to reuse each connected catalog’s author-owned metadata and artwork.
  • Release checks add new books and retry unavailable sources; they do not refresh existing covers or remove existing books.
  • The optional author visibility switch applies to plugin-managed records. Unrelated WordPress pages are not automatically hidden. Elementor and WPBakery are not bundled.
